I do my best to support more tax relief for middle class families. Of course families are different and many alternative arrangements thrive, but at the center is children’s welfare, and that means supporting spouses if we are going to get anywhere in our debate for family policies. I support humanitarian agencies aiding undocumented immigrants. Let them continue to work around systemic boundaries. Why shouldn’t they be given the health services they as human beings deserve. Open borders - I just don’t know - they are not realistic. It makes me nervous. And that wall with Mexico? It is appalling that the natural reserves will suffer. And don’t get me started on religion. Freedom of practice, separation of church and state. Never mind Benedikt’s part in a papal brotherhood - including an American- with an anti-Semite. Racism is so pre-2009. Haven’t you heard?
